To pay HOA dues and other assessments online:

• 1. Go to www.backyardrealty.com and locate the Association Login section in the bottom right section of the page.
  2. If this is your first time to use the site, follow the steps below to request a password. Registered users can skip to step 3.
     
     • Click Register (next to the Submit button).
     • Complete the information on the registration page, and then click Submit. Your account number can be found on your bill, or you may leave it blank. Your full name, property address, and email address are required.
     • Once your identification has been verified, you will receive an email from donotreply@cincsystems.com with the subject Website Registration, containing a temporary password to access the site. (This may take a few days.)
     • Once you have your temporary password, go back to www.backyardrealty.com and locate the Association Login section in the bottom right section of the page.
        
  3. Login with your email address and password, then click Submit.
  4. If this is your first time logging in, click My Profile in the left column and verify your information, set a new password, and confirm your opt-in settings for the directory listing.
  5. Click Account Info in the left column to see what you owe.
  6. Click Pay Assessments in the left column to make a payment.
  7. You can make your payment via electronic check, which deducts the amount from your checking account, or a credit card.
     IMPORTANT: The site does NOT accept Visa, but does accept MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX. A convenience fee will be charged for using a credit card, but not for paying by e-check.

Cobb County requires solicitors to have a license, a photo ID issues by the county displayed prominently, and is not allowed come before 9am or after 9pm. Also, they cannot come if your neighborhood has a No Soliciting sign. So you could definitely call the police. According to the Cobb County web site, County police officers will respond to reports of unauthorized sales people.

Some Home Owners Associations use the code enforcement officers to deal with ACC-type issues (grass not being cut, outdoor storage, etc.).  In our case, we have a very effective Architectural Control committee that helps us all maintain the appearance of our residences whether we own or are renting.  Please continue to support them.
